Member Support & Community Outreach
GGMG strives to give back to our community in many ways. The Member Support Committee’s mission is to change a member’s life for the better and foster a sense of community amongst our members. If you experiencing a difficult period, such as postpartum depression, family illness, etc., contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance with meal delivery, child care services, home cleaning services, etc.
If you have questions about your membership, email email@example.com.
If the $75.00 annual fee is a hardship for you, we offer financial assistance so every mother can get the support they need from our community. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
The following list of resources has been compiled by the Member Support Committee with the assistance of the GGMG community.
If you would like to add to the list or make a suggestion, please contact email@example.com.
Our drives program allows our members to have a positive impact on the greater Bay Area community. In the past we have contributed to Homeless Prenatal Program, SFCASA, Raphael House, Project Night Night, and SFSmiles. We greatly appreciate the support our GGMG members have given to make these drives a huge success.
We have diaper and wipe donation collection bins year round at:
- Play Haven at 254 Laguna Honda
- Imagination Playhouse at 5628 Geary Blvd.
- Peekaboo Factory at 2 West Portal Ave
Thank you so much to all who gave during our 2017 holiday drive for Homeless Prenatal Program (HPP). Together we raised over $10,000 to help HPP offer their services focused on housing, prenatal and parenting support, child development, family finances and stability, access to technology, domestic violence and substance abuse, family unification, and emergency support of basic needs.
April – May 2018 Diaper Drive: Help A Mother Out
Help a Mother Out (HAMO) is a nonprofit organization that works to improve baby and family well-being by increasing access to diapers. HAMO distributes diapers to families in need through a network of social service partners, including voluntary home visit programs, facilitated parent support groups, family resource centers, and public health departments.
Drop off open or unopened packs of diapers and wipes – sizes 4, 5, and 6 are most in need, but all sizes are accepted – at the following locations:
Play Haven – 254 Laguna Honda Blvd.
Peekaboo Factory – 2 West Portal Ave.
Imagination Playhouse – 5628 Geary Blvd.
Peekadoodle – 900 North Point St., Suite F100
Purchase from the Amazon wishlist.
The drive runs through the end of May. Thank you for donating!
If you are looking for an opportunity to donate or get involved please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
We plan events that create awareness and encourage participation in educational and community service projects. We have hosted beach cleanups, volunteering days to sort donations at SF-Marin Food Bank and SFSmiles, special movie nights at Homeless Prenatal Program and much more.
